Career Day

Olivia kindergarten class had a community helper's parade today. She decided when she was three that she wanted to be a dentist. Just like that. One day as we're driving home she annouces that she wants to be a dentist when she grows up. Then a few months ago she said she wanted to be so many things when she grew up that she decided that she would change her profession each day. A dentist on Mon., teacher on Tuesday, dancer on Wednesday, and so on. Well, a few weeks ago she added doctor/surgeon to her list. We watched a story about a cochlear implant on a baby and now she's added that to her list. :) So, I adjusted some scrubs for her to wear along with her stethescope and her doctor's bag full of doctor goodies. She said she only passed out band-aids to people with real scars not "old" scars. I asked her if we would have to pay her when she became a doctor. She said her family wouldn't have to pay but, that she needed some of those big stickers to give to her patients after she gives them shots.

Too bad she's not a doctor yet. Both the boy's are sick. Miserable as he feels, Nathan still has the energy to help me clean!
Luke has been adjusting to his new crib. He moved into it last night. He looks so little in it!
